The morning routine is like an overture: It sets the tone for the day. Because of my New Jersey commute, from the moment I wake up until the moment my subway train comes howling into my final destination, I am assailed by anxiety.

I had been living in McMahon Hall for two years and all was well. That is until I realized I was paying ridiculous sums of money to stay on campus. And by ridiculous I mean so ridiculous that it caught the attention of the rest of the country.

I’d like to tell you about the single best program at Fordham that every student should participate in before he or she graduates: Global Outreach (GO!). GO! is an unforgettable experience that allows you to travel the country and world, become close friends with 11 other people and serve out the Jesuit command to go forth and set the world on fire. I am leading a GO! project this year to New Orleans, but no matter where you go, I promise that you will always remember your experience as one of the highlights of your Fordham experience.
Whether or not these events are actually doable with the Senior Week planning committee’s budget (or even FCLC rules), I, in my infinitely useful knowledge, propose the following as rewards for surviving four years of Fordham.
