With an 8-0 record this season, Fordham’s football team is bound to have their share of breakout stars. Wide receiver Samuel Ajala, Fordham College at Rose Hill (FCRH) ’15, is one of them.
The Fordham men’s cross country team placed third in the 85th annual Metropolitan Cross Country Meet in Van Cortlandt Park in Bronx, NY. Mike Turi, Fordham College at Rose Hill, (FCRH) ’16, led the pack.
The Fordham Rams football now have a 7-0 record after delivering a beating against the Georgetown University Hoyas. It was a tale of two sides of the line, as both the offense and the defense put up strong efforts to give Fordham the 34-12 win.
The Rams football team won their fifth consecutive game to start the season which places them 5-0 for the first time since 1988.
In only their second and third games played at home this season, the Fordham volleyball team found themselves with both a win and a loss by the end of the weekend. They are now 8-9 on the season.
The Fordham women’s volleyball team began their season on Aug. 30 with a win over Savannah State University at the Winthrop Classic, a summer tournament hosted by Winthrop University.
After three flights and approximately 23 hours of travel, the Fordham women’s basketball team finally arrived in Melbourne, Australia.
