On Nov. 14, The Center on National Security at Fordham Law School hosted notable figures from various fields to discuss questions regarding surveillance and privacy in the United States. The session, titled “They’re Watching Us: So What?,” aimed to address the questions on many citizens’ minds after recent revelations regarding NSA spying practices.

Co-sponsored by PEN American Center and the ACLU, the panel included speakers like James Bamford, author and NSA expert, Ariel Dorfman, Chilean novelist, playwright and professor Glenn Greenwald, Guardian journalist who recently worked with NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and Bruce Schneier, computer security and privacy specialist.
