Why do you waste your time wasting?
At least shout at the stars to make sense of your waste,
your breath lonely
and important
and wasted.
Shout at the stars a little while
(see if you feel better.)
You’ll find that they remain although you won’t,
gold and wide and blue.
They see what you can’t and
know how to waste gloriously.
