On Nov. 21, USG held a meeting to gage interest in reviving the Debate Club at Fordham College at Lincoln Center, prompted by administration interests in seeing the club return to Fordham. Vice President of Operations for United Student Government Jacob Azrilyant, FCLC ’16, said he was pleased with the turnout and enthusiasm of those who signed up and looks forward to taking the necessary steps to get the club off the ground.

Parliamentary debate was the overwhelming consensus, Azrilyant said, and, given the appropriate circumstances, the team could be official as soon as next semester.
